[Bonetools] weaving spools from perforated sheep metapodials

Dear all,
     it probably would be useful if someone, somewhere began doing high
magnification  use wear studies (including rigorous experimentation and
blind-testing) studies) on Roman and medieval worked bone. it won't be me
with my wonky eyes but it might help us get a handle on the way many of
these enigmatic objects could and were used!. Thanks for this Ian.
