Dear bonetool members,
    The posting is  a bit ambiguous but if I were to make a guess about this object I would say 
it must be produced with metal tools and is some kind of a container. what sprung to mind is 
something to hold cinders for fire-making rather than a quiver.  Iva and Gianfranco - could we 
have a bit more background information on what looks like a very interesting object?
