Dear colleagues,

The local development area of Diputación de Badajoz, member of 
Partenalia, is searching for local or regional authorities to participate 
in the project IN- género LOCAL (To incorporate Gender approach in local 
policies).framed within the Programme relating to the Community Framework 
Strategy on Gender Equality ( VP/2005/020/387).

The overall objective of the project is to increase women' participation 
in the decisions-making process at political level, through the 
strengthening of their proactive attitude, especially in local management 
matters, in order to favour gender equality achievement in local 
development.

Please find a brief description of the Project and main activities on the 
file attached.
