Vienna, 15-16 May 2006

The Women and Science unit of the European Commission organises jointly with
the Austrian Presidency a conference on Women in Science and Technology.
This event will give an impetus to increase the percentage of women in
industrial research in Europe. At this occasion, the EU expert group on
Women in Science and Technology will present their report on "the business
perspective" of the gender issue in the sector.

The conference addresses scientists, students, human resource developers in
companies, political, business and media representatives.
