Az Országos Széchényi Könyvtár a Német Nemzeti Könyvtár által vezetett
konzorcium tagjaként az Európai Unió "Specific Support Action IST Call 3"
pályázatán a TEL-ME-MOR című pályázattal támogatást nyert. (Bővebb

A pályázat célja többek között, hogy elősegítse az új tagországok intézményeinek
részvételét a további IST (Information Society Technology/Információs
Társadalom Technológiák) pályázatokon, különösképpen a kulturális örökség és
a képzés területén. Ennek elősegítése céljából sürgősen szétküldjük az alábbi
felhívást, ami a további pályázási lehetőségekről nyújt információt.


Opportunities for institutions from New Member States to
participate in the European Commission’s IST research
programme

TEL-ME-MOR - The European Library: Modular Extensions for Mediating Online
Resources – ({HYPERLINK "http://www.telmemor.net/"}www.telmemor.net) started on 1st February 2005. The project is
funded by the European Commission under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6)
of the Information Society Technologies (IST) Programme, within the Activity 2.3.6.1,
which is aimed at stimulating, encouraging and facilitating the participation of
organisations from the New Member States and the Associated Candidate Countries
in the activities of the IST area.

› TEL-ME-MOR will support 10 national libraries from the New Member States, which
are partners in the projects, in becoming full members of {HYPERLINK "http://www.europeanlibrary.org/"}The European Library – TEL
(www.europeanlibrary.org/), an initiative, established under the aegis of the
Conference of European National Librarians (CENL), providing unified access to the
electronic resources of the main European National Libraries as well as other library
services.
› TEL-ME-MOR will raise awareness and disseminate information on the opportunities
for participation in future IST activities, to foster an increased participation of
organisations from the New Member States in future IST calls for proposals,
especially within the Cultural Heritage and Learning sectors.

CALL 4
{HYPERLINK "http://fp6.cordis.lu/fp6/call_details.cfm?CALL_ID=174"}Call 4 is now open and closes on Tuesday, 22 March 2005. The call offers
excellent opportunities for partnerships between libraries, museums, archives,
schools and other related institutions and it covers the following two areas:

› Technology-enhanced Learning (enhancing learning through technologies) - Strategic
Objective 2.14.10

› The Enlarged Europe (Strategic Objective 2.4.13), designed to promote and
facilitate New Member States participation while catalysing partnership with the
rest of Europe.  It provides for proposals to focus on making a contribution to
strengthen integration with the enlarged Europe in the selected field by building on
good practices and involving appropriate national organisations. One of the four
specific areas addressed by this objective is eLearning.


FUTURE CALLS
CALL 5, covering Cultural Heritage (Strategic Objective 2.5.10) and Multimodal
Interfaces including Multilingual Communications (Strategic Objective 2.5.7), will
open on 17 May and will close on 21 September 2005.
