[Bonetools] help qith mystery bone

Dear all,

A friend of mine has come across this caprine metatarsal (photos 
attached)  among the faunal assemblage from a medieval castle in Spain. 
Although she thinks the artefact is medieval, she does not exclude the 
possibility of an earlier date because Bronze age levels were identified 
on site, too. The problem is that it derives from old excavations and 
the field notes are lost.

Any comments on its use or parallels are most than welcome.
