[Bonetools] worked bone and organic material from F?nt?nele, Romania

Dear Imola,
The "organic material" looks like burnt (human?) bone. Parts of the bone
object are also burnt. I suspect that it comes from the same archaeological
feature (cremation?). Regarding the use of the object -- I looked at the
photos with two colleagues and we suggest that it might have something to
do with plaiting. Maybe it would be worthwhile to look for some etnographic
analogies?
