Hello Manuel,
I'm studying scapular tools that are from western North America. In my background research, I came across notched scapulae from the Mediterranean/Middle East that look similar to your photo.
Zukerman et al. 2007 has good images of a couple of them. Reese 2002 has a good lit review, if I remember correctly.
Wishing you the best,
Gloria Howat Brown

Subject: [Bonetools] Marks on a bone tool
Dear colleagues, I am studying a small bone assemblage from a Neolithic
cave site from Granada, in southern Spain. I´ve seen some sort of small
parallel groves over the edges of a point tool. Do you have any
suggestion about their origin? Function?
Any suggestion is welcome!
Thank you in advance!
