García-Hoz Rosales, et l’œuvre c’est : /Animalario. //Visiones Humanas

(Madrid: Ministerio de Cultura, 2005), 414 pp. Si quelque personne 
s’intéresse dans le Catalogue, on peut le demander a María Prego, 
Bibliotecaria, du Museo del Traje. Centro de Investigación del 
Patrimonio Etnológico et peut être on l’envierait gratuitement.

et je me suis souvenu entre-temps de la huesera;39949.Madrid de votre 
catalogue, où se manifeste le forage transversal. J'en ai une photocopie 
papier, pouvez-vous m'envoyer une image électronique et la référence de 
votre ouvrage, pour que je fasse connaître cela ?

Dear list members,

  

Nathalie Meyer sent a request on a peculiar Roman bone artefact (see

below).

  

This tool of unknown function has been found a decade ago at the site

of the Roman naval base at Altenburg (1st century AD) in the Lower

Rhine area of Germany (Roman province Germania inferior). Recently a

second similar piece has been discovered from the same site.  Both

are made out of metatarsi of sheep. Taking the context into account,

there is a possibility that the tools are related to ships or

navigation. Suggestions and comments about comparative items are

welcome.
