Dear Xiaolin,
      All problems can be solved if there is a will. I also had zero
problems getting my visa - it took about three hours. And I do not think
you gave me a letter of invitation. It would hardly make sense for all
the millions of tourists who visit your country every year! However, these
things can change in an instant. I once was visiting France when the French
 suddenly imposed a visa requirement for Americans.  The requirement was
gone in two months and yes - they let me leave the country anyway!
