Hello everyone and many thanks for the papers!

 

There's a paper from Isabelle Sidera: Feu et
industrie osseuse. Un marqueur d'identité culturelle. Paléorient, Année
2000, Volume 26, Numéro 2. p. 51 - 59. 

 

The article focuses on thermo alteration linked to cultural decisions, but there are also some references (Newcomer 1974
for example) of burning as a strengthen technique.
