[Bonetools] Fw: London Adapted Object

Dear Ian,
    What a marvellous piece. These late medieval -early modern ivory combs
were precious and therefore often curated in various ways. A colleague and
I wrote an article on what happens to these combs once they fell into
Ottoman hands (or beards) in 16th c. Hungary. I attach it in case anyone
else is interested. Many thanks for showing this piece to us!
