Dear Alice:
Is it too late to register to give a paper at the Nanterre meeting? When is
it and who would I contact? I need to submit a travel budget ASAP at my
museum.

Oh, ah, by the way, in case you are interested.....OUR BOOK IS AT THE
PRINTERS!!!!!!! Yippee! Yes! Whew! Wow! Hallelujah!!! It is going to be
gorgeous. Talk about making a silk purse out of a sow's ear! And, I went
through it all again and still found more typos, but it is really clean now.
The photos look good, too. I am satisfied and think we should all be very
proud. That which does not kill me.... Nietzsche was soooooo right. Of
course, at times I had my doubts which way it would go. Now, when I
recuperate, I will have to hone down which of my billions of backlogged
projects I will conquer first!

Thanks for all you did on the book, both of you, and for being such dear
friends.
Love,
Sandi
