Ivories

Dear Colleagues,
          Professor Francois Poplin has written to announce the publication
of a catalogue for an exhibition from last summer at the Louvre on Ivories. It
focused on the raw material ("Matières dures d'origine animale"). The
catalogue costs 43 €. Ivory is a tricky subject and this catalogue is a
welcome addition to the  literature on the subject! Perhaps you should
contact Monsieur Poplin for more information on ordering.
