To reset the drum counter without using the Status Monitor

Turn off the printer
Open the top cover
Press and hold the blue oval button on the operator panel While continuing
to hold down the button, power on the printer The lights on the front panel
will flash twice. The drum should now be reset.
Note: This method will only work with the 14e.
