[shib_auth] How to make /Shibboleth.sso accessible?

Hi Luis,

There is a development version of the shibboleth authentication module for drupal 8: https://www.drupal.org/project/shib_auth/releases/8.x-1.x-dev

I am using this, and have adapted it to add some features.

How far have you got with setting up your service provider? Do you have to make similar modifications to your .htaccess file to get the service provider up on your site?

I am in the process of setting up a shibboleth service provider. Do you have a module that can be used? I observed the module available is for Drupal 7...

Hi there,

I have set up a shibboleth service provider on my drupal 8 site, with the login page displaying at /Shibboleth.sso/Login.

To be able to access this I had to modify the .htaccess file. I followed the guidance here: https://web.osu.edu/technical-support/drupal-support/drupal-7/drupal-shib/

So I added RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/Shibboleth.sso($|/) to the .htaccess file.

However I noticed that this resulted in other drupal files being accessible on my site such as .module files for other modules. These were not accessible before I added this line.

Did anyone else experience similar issues, or how did you achieve making /Shibboleth.sso accessible on your sites?
