[shib_auth] Next 7.x release?

It's been nearly three years since the last shib_auth release, and there are several  commits, and four issues marked as need review in the issue queue (https://www.drupal.org/project/issues/shib_auth?text=&status=8&priorities=All&categories=1&version=7.x&component=All)

Will there be a new release soon? While minor, these issues would greatly improve the end-user experience from both a developer and regular user point of view.
