[shib_auth] Access Denied after logging in

Hi Kristof,

Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate your help. I checked my permissions and I found no instances where a non-admin role had permissions that the admin did not already have. Throughout this process I've only given the anonymous role access to view published content.

As a test, I enabled all permissions for the non-admin user roles and attempted to log-in via Shibboleth and even with all of the permissions enabled for all user roles I still got an access denied screen.

Do you think that this is indicative of a Drupal problem or a problem with my server's Shibboleth configuration settings? Could there be an issue using it in a dev environment vs production or using it on IIS versus Apache?

Thanks again,

Chris

Based on this information, I'd say that your module configuration is
sane. It's something else in Drupal causing the access denied error.

If you can access the page without logging in, then please check the big
Drupal permissions table [1] if there's any permission which is granted
to 'anonymous' while not granted to 'administrator' and 'authenticated
user' roles.
