CALL FOR DEMONSTRATION

Live demonstrations of all kinds of object-oriented software will be=20
presented at the conference.=20
Proposals are solicited for both commercial and in-house systems,=20
as well as academic and corporate research.=20
Demonstrations will be selected on the basis of technical merit,=20
novelty and relevance to object-oriented technology, and also=20
feasibility of presentation.
Product marketing or sales presentations are inappropriate for=20
this forum.=20
Technical members of the implementation teams are expected=20
to give the demonstrations.=20
GUIDELINES FOR DEMONSTRATION PROPOSALS:=20
One page including:
- Demo title.
- Full name of authors and their organization.
- Address, phone number and email address of contact person.
- A short description of the demo.
Descriptions of accepted demonstrations will be published in a
booklet which will be distributed at the conference.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Deadline for demo submission: April 30, 2001
Notification of acceptance: May 10, 2001

CALL FOR POSTER
*********************************************************************
Posters provide an easy and informal means for presenting ongoing=20
research to the ECOOP audience.=20
This may be especially useful for new ideas that have not yet been=20
developed to the point of regular paper. PhD students are particularly=20
encouraged to submit a proposal describing their work. Time will be=20
arranged during the conference for poster authors to discuss their
work directly with interested participants.=20
Posters will be selected based on quality and relevance, subject to=20
available space. The authors will be informed of the dimensions of=20
the available exposition space. Posters will be on display during=20
the entire conference.=20
GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PROPOSALS:
A proposal should be sent by mail as a HTML file and should contain=20
the following items:=20
- The title=20
- The name of the presenter(s)=20
- The abstract - a brief description (up to 500) of the presented
material.=20
- References=20
- Please give information for further reading (an optional URL).
This information will be included in the ECOOP 2001 pages after the=20
notification of acceptance. As in previous years there are plans for=20
the edition of a post conference reader that will include a chapter=20
dedicated to posters.=20
