	Dear Madam/Sir,

	

	I would like to ask you to attend the GESIS presentation (GESIS - German Social Science Infrastructure Services e.V.) titled

	HOW TO GET ACCESS TO INFORMATION? GESIS SERVICES FOR SOCIAL SCIENCE RESEARCH

	and to be held on 26 February (Tuesday), 2008, at 17:00 at the at the Central European University, 1051 Budapest Nador u. 9, in the Computer Lab II.

	(Students, librarians and researchers are welcomed.)

	The GESIS provides services in support of social science research including development and supply of databases with information on social science literature and research activities as well as the archiving and provision of survey data from social research. Services including consultation on methodological questions, development of complex methods of empirical social research as well as GESIS' own long-term observation of social developments with the aid of these instruments are also available. GESIS is member of Leibniz Gemeinschaft.

	

	The presentation will offer insights into the leading German infrastructure services for social science research. GESIS databases, data access possibilities and various informational services as well as other selected important social science online resources will be demonstrated during a one-our session.
