Call for Papers

Hello Everyone!

 

I am interested in organizing a symposium for next year's Society for
American Archaeology meeting in Montreal (March 31-April 4, 2004).  I
haven't developed an abstract yet, but am thinking of a title such as
"Recent Research on Worked Bone and Shell Objects", or something along
those lines.  My recent work has been focusing on burial items, so I
would be particularly pleased if we could focus more on ceremonial or
non-utilitarian materials.  Although submissions aren't due until
September 3, I would like to get a feel for who might be interested now.
