The World Wide Web Conference series (WWW10) will be in the Asia-Pacific
region again next year. It will be a very special conference if there is a
high
level of local participation. IT and web developers and web users in the
region are invited to interact with their regional as well as American and
European colleagues.

Please note that this year the conference has included two special tracks -
culture and education. They are designed to bring those who deal with
content and web use standards and research into close contact with those who
study and set the technical, infrastructure standards. As chair of the
Culture Track, I am keen to ensure that those who are working with standards
that go beyond the 'hard-techie' ones that define the web infrastructure
present their work to help everyone makes the web a richer place for all.
CULTIVATE readers constitute a significant group in this respect.

If you or your colleagues are doing work that helps explain what is being
done and what is possible, and what is needed, the Culture Track should
provide a useful international forum for sharing your work. Please consider
a proposal for a paper, panel, poster or contributing by attending.

The following Calls for Participation are now available on the WWW10
Website (http://www10.org/):

Call for Refereed Papers http://www10.org/w10-call-papers.html
Call for Panel Proposals http://www10.org/w10-calls-panels.html
Call for Poster Proposals http://www10.org/w10-call-posters.html
Call for Vendors Track Proposals http://www10.org/w10-calls-vendors.html

Note in particular the Call for Cultural Track Proposals
