Subject: Digitisation in Germany - Report technical working group

Dear all,

with beginning of the year 1997 the German Research Foundation
(Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG) promotes a new program, named
,Retrospective digitisation of Library Materials". A technical working
group has been constituted to analyse the state-of-the-art in the
field of digitisation and to define requirements for the establishing
of a Distributed Digital Library in Germany.

The report of this working group (in german language) is now available
via the homepage of the Lower Saxony State and University Library at
Goettingen (Niedersaechsische Staats- und Universitaetsbibliothek):
