A korábbi években kritikák érték többek között az etalonnak tekintett Kongresszusi Könyvtárat, miután katalogizálási és szakozási gyakorlata erősen korlátozta az LMBT közösség fogalmainak </div>
<div>megjelenítését és besorolását a feltárásban. A minap véletlenül bukkantam rá a felülvizsgált és megújított tárgyszójegyzékre az említett Library of Congress honlapján.
</div>
<div>Mivel az ETO táblázatok szintén lassan követik a mindennapi életben történő változásokat, a tisztelt szakozó és katalogizáló könyvtárosok figyelmébe ajánlom az alábbi listát.</div>

<div>önálló tárgyszót kaptak 'LMBT olvasók' / 'LMBT irodalom' alatt. A homoszexualitás 1973 óta nem minősül betegségnek a folyamatosan megújuló DSM-II, DSM-III, DSM-IV, DSM-V. diagnosztikai zsebkönyv szerint,
