 in access point fields. Given that final punctuation is not part of authorized access points in authority records, PoCo has decided that omission of final punctuation in authorized access points in bibliographic records should be allowed as well. It was also
 decided that it would be better to implement this change along with Phase 2 to avoid the need for both participants and tool developers to deal with this matter twice.     </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><u></u><u></u></span></p>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Request that LC Network Development and MARC Standards Office and bibliographic utilities revise MARC 21 documentation to include examples with limited punctuation;

 Final Report 2016</a>). The timeline called for a period of testing and outreach, but there were some delays in getting that started. Now we are ready!<u></u><u></u></span></p>
