Könyvtár főigazgatói álláshelyére. A felhívásban megjelölt határidőre hárman nyújtottak be pályázatot. A pályázatokat két egymástól független testület, az Országos Könyvtári Kuratórium és a kultúráért felelős miniszter által felkért tagokból álló bíráló bizottság
személyes meghallgatással egybekötve értékelte. A két testület egyhangú javaslata alapján az EMMI vezetője dr. Tüske Lászlót bízta meg öt évre az OSZK főigazgatói teendőinek ellátásával.
