január 2-ától minden 14. életévét betöltött magyar állampolgár kölcsönözhet a
KSH Könyvtár 850 ezer kötetes állományából.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

150%'><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
line-height:150%'>A statisztikai hivatallal egyidejűleg, 1867-ben alapított
intézmény egyedülálló társadalomtudományi, szépirodalmi és ismeretterjesztő
gyűjteménnyel rendelkezik, amelyben a statisztika, a demográfia és más
társadalomtudományok teljességre törekvő magyar nyelvű és válogatott külföldi
szakirodalma mellett szépirodalmi és ismeretterjesztő művek, úti- és szakácskönyvek,
nyelvkönyvek és művészeti albumok egyaránt megtalálhatók. Ezek mellett lexikonokat,
szótárakat, képregényeket, turistatérképeket, hangoskönyveket, ismeretterjesztő
DVD-ket, komolyzenei és szórakoztató CD-ket is kölcsönzünk.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify;text-indent:35.4pt;line-height:
150%'><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
line-height:150%'>A könyvtárat 2011 tavaszán felújítottuk és
akadálymentesítettük. Bibó Istvánról elnevezett olvasótermünkben nagyító- és
felolvasógép, valamint öregbetűs könyvek állnak a látássérült látogatók
rendelkezésére. A legkisebbek számára ugyanitt játékokkal felszerelt gyereksarkot
alakítottunk ki.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify;text-indent:35.4pt;line-height:
150%'><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
line-height:150%'>Az elektronikus fejlesztések eredményeként a könyvtár teljes
állományának bibliográfiai leírása elérhető az online katalógusban, a
törökbálinti raktárban tárolt könyvek pedig akár otthonról is egyetlen
gombnyomással bekérhetők a központba. Az ismertetett korszerűsítésekkel, a
digitális tudásbázisok folyamatos gyarapításával, helységnévtárak és
statisztikatörténeti művek kiadásával könyvtárunk mind szakkönyvtári, mind
közkönyvtári funkcióit jelentősen bővítette.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify;text-indent:35.4pt;line-height:
150%'><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
line-height:150%'>A kölcsönzési jogosultság kiterjesztésével egyidejűleg a
könyvtár nyitva tartása is módosul: 2012 januárjától hétfőtől csütörtökig
reggel nyolc és este hét, pénteken reggel nyolc és délután négy óra között
tartunk nyitva.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
