Az idei IFLA világkonferencián több IFLA-szekció közösen fogja
megvitatni az elektronikus dokumentumok
kötelespéldány-szolgáltatásának kérdéskörét: az erre vonatkozó
jogalkotástól annak alkalmazásáig. <br>
Közvetlen szellemi előzményként szolgál a British Library 2009-es
felmérése, amelyet a nemzeti könyvtárak vezetőinek legutóbbi
(göteborgi) konferenciája megtárgyalt. <br>

Bibliography, Information Technology, National Libraries and
Knowledge Management sections together with ICADS are seeking
proposals for papers on the topic of e-legal deposit. Many
national libraries have implemented legislation or agreements
requiring publishers to deposit electronic publications and
others are seeking to develop and implement e-legal deposit
legislation. Legislation and implementation differs from
country to country and national libraries continue to face
significant issues around collecting, preserving</span><span
style="font-size: 14pt;" lang="DA">, providing bibliographic
control and</span><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> providing
public access to digital deposit materials. We see different
models emerging depending on specific legislation, or deposit
agreements in the absence of official deposit laws, and
whether or not online publications (e-journals) and websites
are included in new deposit rules.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 14pt;">It is proposed
to hold 2 X 2 hour sessions, with one session concentrating on
policies and issues surrounding the development and
implementation of legislation or regulations for e-legal
deposit and the other on policy and issues relating to the
management, bibliographic control, preservation and provision
of access to e-legal deposit materials.

of Directors of National Libraries (CDNL) discussed e-legal
deposit and the results of survey on this topic conducted by
The British Library in 2009, at their meeting in Gothenburg,
Sweden in August 2010. CDNL agreed to develop a manifesto
establishing principles for e-legal deposit.

of February 2011 whether or not their proposal has been
successful. Papers, which must be in one of the official
languages of IFLA, will be required by 15 May, 2011.
