Feltétlenül további figyelmet érdemelnek ezek a pontok is.
Hiányérzetem van, hogy nem szerepelt ismertető előadás az IFLA
trendekről a vándorgyűléseken, vagy önálló konferencia a témáról az
elmúlt három évben.
Javaslom, hogy fordítsunk több figyelmet az IFLA által kidolgozott
trendek vizsgálatának és ismertetésének minél több fórumon.

Köszönet a híradásért. Érdemes esetleg kiegészíteni a frissítésből
azzal, hogy mik európai viszonylatban a szakmát foglalkoztató
kulcskérdések (p. 9-11.):
• New challenges around copyright, access to content and e-lending
• Is the erosion of privacy a means of control or a source of
empowerment?
• How do we close the skills gap for librarians?
• Strengthening strategic collaboration between libraries
• Library principles, digital opportunities and listening to patrons

Az érdeklődők figyelmébe ajánlanám és csatoltan küldöm az IFLA Trend
Report 2016 Update jelentést - pdf mellékletben,
és az IFLA trend 2013. honlap címét http://trends.ifla.org/, melyen
hasznos olvasnivalókat találtok.
A 2013-ban megfogalmazott trendeket a szingapúri IFLA kongresszus
alkalmával tették közzé.
Az öt trend egy-egy mondatban:

Our information environment is constantly changing. How will we access,
use and benefit from information in an increasingly hyper-connected
world? 
The IFLA Trend Report identifies five top level trends which will play
a key role in shaping our future information ecosystem: 

TREND 1 ( http://trends.ifla.org/access-to-information ) New
Technologies will both expand and limit who has access to information. 

TREND 2 ( http://trends.ifla.org/online-education ) Online Education
will democratise and disrupt global learning. 

TREND 3 ( http://trends.ifla.org/privacy-and-data-protection ) The
boundaries of privacy and data protection will be redefined.. 

TREND 4 ( http://trends.ifla.org/hyper-connected-societies )
Hyper-connected societies will listen to and empower new voices and
groups. 

TREND 5 ( http://trends.ifla.org/new-technologies ) The global
information environment will be transformed by new technologies.
