*Subject:* Help us promote "A Roma Journey", a new exhibition of The
European Library

Dear colleagues,

*The European Library<http://www.theeuropeanlibrary.org/portal/organisation/about_us/aboutus_en.html>
* is a free service that offers access to the resources of the 48 national
libraries of Europe. Resources can be both digital (books, posters, maps,
sound recordings, videos, etc.) and bibliographical. Quality and reliability
are guaranteed by the 48 collaborating national libraries of Europe. The
partners in The European Library are all members of the Conference of
European National Librarians (CENL), a foundation aiming at increasing and
reinforcing the role of national libraries in Europe.

The European Library launched yesterday a new virtual exhibition called "*A
Roma Journe<http://www.theeuropeanlibrary.org/exhibition/roma_journey/eng/index.html>
y*".

It provides exciting content about Roma's rich cultural heritage across
Europe; you can view a unique collection of full-text books, rare
manuscripts, photographs, paintings, sound recordings and videos from the
world of the Roma. Rarities on offer include the first ever dictionary
<http://www.theeuropeanlibrary.org/exhibition/roma_journey/eng/manuscripts.html>written
in Romani-Serbian-German in a concentration camp during WWII, traditional
songs and tales<http://www.theeuropeanlibrary.org/exhibition/roma_journey/eng/audio.html>,
and letters exploring the experiences of a Roma
family<http://www.theeuropeanlibrary.org/exhibition/roma_journey/eng/tel.html>in
Scandinavia.

I have attached to this mail our Press Release in English, German, Serbian
and Romani language. Please feel free to relay this Press Release within
your own network, post a news item on your organisation website, help us
"evangelise" this exciting content through your community websites
(Facebook, Tweeter, etc.). Help us turn this exciting project into a truly
deserved success!

Thank you very much for your kind collaboration and enjoy *A Roma
Journe<http://www.theeuropeanlibrary.org/exhibition/roma_journey/eng/index.html>
y*.

Best wishes
