 Dear Europeana partners,

 The Mapping and Normalisation Guidelines and the ESE Specification
 have been updated by the Operations Team, following feedback from
 users.

 This is a clarification update only. All the changes made in the
 documents are listed in the Document history panel at the end of each
 document.

 The latest versions can be found on the Provide Content pages at
 http://version1.europeana.eu/web/europeana-project/provide-content :

 Metadata Mapping and Normalisation Guidelines for the Europeana
 Prototype v1.2.1

 EuropeanaSemantic Elements specifications v3.2.2

 It is strongly recommended that providers refer to both documents
 when
 making mapping decisions.

 The XML schema v3.2 is still valid.
