T. Lista, sem az EISZ december 7-ei értesítője, sem a
http://eisz.om.hu/main.php?articleID=4005 oldalon olvasható "Az EISZ
program fennmaradása 2008-ban" című, 2007. 10. 16.-ai hír nem szól  a
ScienceDirect 2008. évi előfizetéséről. Amint az eisz at hik.hu címre
küldött érdeklődő levelemre írt válaszában sem említi azt Ács Gábor,
ugyancsak december 7-én.

Kedves tanáraink kétségbeesve küldték nekem éppen a napokban a
következő értesítőt, amelyet ők mint "Dear EISZ ScienceDirect and
Scopus user" kaptak.

"SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear EISZ ScienceDirect and Scopus user,

We are writing to inform you that your institute has unfortunately
decided not to renew its subscriptions to ScienceDirect and Scopus.

By January 1, 2008 the ScienceDirect and Scopus subscriptions will
expire and you will no longer be able to access the ScienceDirect and
Scopus websites. To prevent you from receiving email notifications
after January 1 (for another 90 days), we advise you to turn off your
ScienceDirect and Scopus alerts before that time.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for using
ScienceDirect since 2000 and Scopus since 2006, and we hope that
arrangements can be made for you to have access to these databases
again in the future.

Making ScienceDirect and Scopus content available as broadly as
possible is our key priority. We will do our utmost best to convince
your institution of the value of our electronic resources and
appreciate any feedback from you to us, or to your administration
about the importance of having access to high quality scientific
information in your daily work.

Így már érthető, miért nem szólnak a kör- és magánlevelek a
ScienceDirect 2008. évi előfizetésről.
