küldöm a 31/2023 hétre a HPC KK belső hírlevelet. Ezen a héten is számos rendezvényre hívjuk fel figyelmeteket, illetve az alábbi pályázati felhívásra:
Inno4scale Open Call – innovative algorithms for exascale computing

The EuroHPC JU project Inno4scale has issued a call for proposals for “innovation studies” relating to algorithms for exascale computing – details can be found at https://www.inno4scale.eu/calls. The deadline for submissions is September 28th, at 17:00 Brussels local time.

The innovation studies should lead to proof-of-concept demonstrators exhibiting enhanced performance relevant for important applications executed on exascale systems.

The expectation is for compact studies performed over a period of 12 months, with up to 3 partners (and a total of 24 person months effort). The max. available funding per innovation study is 200 K€.

The Inno4scale project will organise webinars about the open call exclusive to the NCCs and CoEs. Questions can also be sent to:  inno4scale_call at bsc.es<mailto:inno4scale_call at bsc.es>

4 October 2023: Data Parallelism: How to Train Deep Learning Models on Multiple GPUs (NCC Czech Republic ) in hybrid form : Modern deep learning challenges leverage increasingly larger datasets and more complex models. As a result, significant computational power is required to train models effectively and efficiently. Learning to distribute data across multiple GPUs during training makes possible an incredible wealth of new applications that utilize deep learning. 8 November 2023: Parallel Computing with MATLAB and Scaling MATLAB Code to the HPC Cluster. (NCC Czech Republic) in hybrid form : This two-part hands-on workshop will introduce you to parallel computing with MATLAB so that you can solve computationally and data-intensive problems using multicore processors, GPUs, and computer clusters.
