Dear all,<br>
few weeks ago I sent you the e-mail above. I would like to thank to
those who already fulfill the questionnaire. For those, who did not
make so I am resending it as you have few more days to participate.<br>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"
lang="EN-US">I came across an interesting initiative of
a global survey of women’s organizations’ activities regarding women’s
safety and violence against women. The survey is carried out by <span
style="">Huairou Commission (<a href="http://www.huairou.org/">www.huairou.org</a>)
and the aim is to assess
the on-going work and successful practices organizations and
institutions have
developed in response to the lack of women’s safety and gender based
violence. <o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"
lang="EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"
lang="EN-US">However, I was
surprised that the participation in the survey from our region was
really low
(only </span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span
style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Russia</span></st1:place></st1:country-region><span
style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US"> and the </span><st1:country-region><st1:place><span
style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">Czech
Republic</span></st1:place></st1:country-region><span
style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-US">
participated). I do believe that such
a small visibility of our region is an unused opportunity as there are
so
many organizations dealing with gender based violence and lots of good
examples
to share. Therefore I volunteered to distribute the information and the
survey
itself to CEE women’s networks. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

lang="EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"
lang="EN-US">If you would like to
participate in the survey, please fulfill the attached questionnaire
and send
it back to me (<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated"

till October, 10. It will take
maximum 15 minutes of your time.
Or if you know about the organization that by me interested in it that
is not

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"

safety is really broadly understood and it covers all forms of gender
based
violence and even women’s poverty so I am sure that you will be able to
find
