Last chance to apply to Encouragement to Advance Training Seminars for 
Women Scientists


The EU- project Encouragement to Advance Training Seminars for Women 
Scientists offers female scientists of all disciplines the opportunity
to 
prepare for appointment procedures for professorships in six European 
countries. After the official closing date for applications in June,
there 
are 20 remaining places vacant at the moment. 
The project offers a series of 16 seminars from April 2007 until January

2008. Each seminar focuses on international appointment procedures; 
negotiation strategies with the appointment committee; examination of 
application documents; career strategies and development of 
career-objectives. A charge of 250 â?¬ covers the four-day seminar, 
overnight costs in a hotel in Brussels, and access to the projects 
communication platform.
