Dear Friends,
Institute of Biopolymers and Chemical Fibres ( IBWCh ) Lodz, Poland is a 
one of participants of European Polysaccharide Network of Excellence 
EPNOE . The network of excellence EPNOE was launched in May 2005 within 
the 6th Framework-Program of Research and Development 2002-2006 funded 
by the European Commission.

In EPNOE we are responsible for Integrating Activity within WP 
â&#65533;&#65533;Mobility, exchanges of personnel, gender equality and working conditionsâ&#65533;&#65533;.

Our general objective is to promote gender equality in research, 
education and technology. To promote the women participation in research 
we organised the special event : Workshop â&#65533;&#65533;Working conditions and gender 
equalityâ&#65533;&#65533; on 7^th April 2006 in our institution.

The workshop comprised presentations of invited specialists from other 
NoEs on possibilities for research, training, communication and 
exchanges in their organisations.

Our plan for future activity is to establish contact with other 
organisations of women in science.

We would be very obliged for possibility of collaboration with your 
organisation to exchange experiences on the issue of gender equality, to 
discuss interesting topics in science and problems related to 
communication, mobility and working conditions.

We shall much appreciate a reply from you.
