Dear colleague,

We are happy to inform you about the progress of the Central and Eastern European Online Library (CEEOL), the sole online database providing electronic access to articles and eBooks on Central and Eastern European topics at www.ceeol.com. The library has been constantly developing and in the last six months we added 22 new titles.

The library offers the possibility of institutional subscription and also pay-per-view for individual access.

Out of the more than 100 journals we cooperate with, please allow me to present you the existing titles on gender studies subjects:

Kruh i ruzhe (Bread and Roses)
Quarterly published by the Women's Infotheque in Zagreb, Croatia. (Coverage in CEEOL: 2003-2004). Since 1994 Zenska infoteka publishes the magazine Kruh i ruze (Bread and Roses) in order to bring knowledge, experiences and new theoretical perspectives to the widest possible audience in Croatia, but also in former Yugoslav republics. With our magazine, we try to contribute to critical discussion on broad spectrum of issues related to status of women and gender related problems in Croatia but also in general. 

Identiteti: Spisanie za politika, rod i kultura (Identities: Journal for Politics, Gender and Culture)
Semiannual published by the Research Center in Gender Studies in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. (Coverage in CEEOL: 2003)

AnALize: Revista de studii feministe (AnALize: Journal of feminist studies)
Published by the AnA Society for Feminist Analyses in Bucuresti, Romania. (Coverage in CEEOL: 1998-2002). "AnALize: Journal of feminist studies" is the first publication of its kind in Romania. It promotes multi-disciplinary study in the field, explaining through theoretic arguments the need of feminism in Romania and encouraging autochthonic feminism. Some issues are published bilingual (Romanian-English). "AnALize" ceased to be printed in 2002. 

Aspekt (Aspect)
Published by the Aspect Publishing House in Bratislava, Slovakia. (Coverage in CEEOL: 1998-2002). The feminist cultural review "Aspekt" (founded 1993), is the only periodical of its kind not only in Slovakia, but in central Europe. Published in A4 format, it ranges between 150 and 270 pages, highlighting in particular women's issues - which had been entirely absent in Slovak public discourse before its inception. Aspekt and its contributors have been trying to enrich the field of discussion with necessary theoretical background. Besides main topic articles, each issue includes an art supplement devoted to the work of a female artist from home or abroad and regular columns.
