Dear ENWISE members, I have been contacted by the organisers of the
WIR conference to be held in Berlin in October with a request to find a
speaker from a central and eastern europe to present the situatin of
women in industrial reseach in CEE countries, with a specific attention
paid to the higher rate of employment of women in industrial resarch
compared to the western countries, lower pay and lower prestige, if
these apply and gender issues in industrial reserach. since the
deadline is very soon, the decision will have to be made on the first
come first serve basis. I would like to ask you to send me contact
information for any such potential speaker should you locate one in
your respective countries. the costs of the conference, travel etc. will
be covered by the organisers.
