Harvard University's Berkman Center for Internet & Society's Internet Law
Program addresses the most controversial cyberlaw issues being debated by
lawmakers in the U.S. and internationally. Taught by world-renowned experts
in the field, the program is designed for lawyers, policymakers,
entrepreneurs, educators, new media professionals, online publishers, and
journalists who write about technology. No prior background in the subject
of Internet Law is required.

A limited number of scholarships are available for participants from
developing countries to attend the Internet Law Program at Stanford Law
School on June 30-July 4, 2003. The goal of these scholarships is to enable
leaders in the governmental, academic, non-profit, and entrepreneurial
sectors of developing countries to attend and to enrich the program through

The scholarships cover:
    * program tuition;
    * accommodations at Mirrielees Apartment Complex
for June 29-July 4, 2003;
    * airfare

Applications [for scholarships] are due no later than noon on ***May 30,
2003*** . Decisions will be made and applicants will be  notified (via
email) by June 2, 2003. Airline travel will be arranged through the Internet
Law Program and tickets will be sent to recipients by express mail.
