SEARCH FOR NEW ISIS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR



The Board of Trustees of Isis International- Manila announces with
regret that after five years of substantive contributions to this
organisation, the present Executive Director, Ms. Susanna George, will
be moving on to other responsibilities by the middle of 2004.  Isis
International-Manila is initiating a search for a new Executive Director
who will lead the organisation and its complement of very committed
staff beginning in May, 2004.  The Terms of Reference including the
requirements on work-related experience, educational background and
personal profile of the ideal candidate will soon be posted in major
newspapers and network lists.

In the last five years, Isis International-Manila has strengthened  its
ability to respond more effectively to  to the women's and other social
movements. Initiatives include sharpened advocacy on gender,  media, and
information and communications; leadership in forging South-South
cooperation; and more efficient management information systems and
internal accountability systems.

Isis International-Manila is looking for someone who can build on the
gains that have been made and can lead an international feminist
info-com organisation in line with its mandate and vision.
