Cooperation and Autonomy in Language Teaching and Learning, 
A SEAL Hungary Seminar, Budapest,  6-9 June, 2003

British and American trainers offer their innovative teaching methods to develop cooperation and learner autonomy by engaging the whole person of the student in the learning experience. Each trainer gives a plenary talk and an in-depth one-day workshop to experience and discuss classroom activities. The overall aim of the seminar is to promote genuine inquiry, share information and to inspire each other in our personal and professional growth. This may be a wonderful opportunity for teachers committed to fostering the unfolding of human potential in education to meet and share their views, experiences, concerns and hopes about our changing profession. 

Our presenters are Robert Gillan (UK) on Team-building; Liv Monroe (US) on Non-violent communication, Mario Rinvolucri (UK) on Humanizing language learning; Bonnie Tsai (USA, France) on The metaphoric mind; Adrian Underhill (UK) on Life-affirming leadership; and Jim Wingate (UK) on Coping with difficulties in the learning process. Andrew Wright (UK) will give an evening workshop on the role of storytelling and arts in learning.
