Greetings ENAWA partners

Wanted to share news of about a recent technology project launched by
the
DisAbled Women's Network (DAWN) in Canada.  On March 11th, 2002 we
created
an electronic list of, for and by Women with disAbilities (Women allies
welcome) interested in enhancing/developing their technology skills.

The list is used primarily as a mechanism to distribute technology tips,
factsheets and Technology FAQs and Q&A rather than for dialogue.

An updated index of technology posts that have been distributed and also
uploaded to the files section of our web interface appears below.

I've also included (at the bottom) an index of posts that will be made
this
week as well as during the following week.  Next week, all posts will be
on
keyboard shortcuts working in Microsoft Word.

I'm not an expert in technology... just a self-taught woman who lives
with
the effects of a brain injury and I strongly believe in the goals of the
DAWN Canada technology project as we work together to build technical
capacity of Women in our sector.

Thought there might be some value in sharing this with ENAWA partners.

If you know of women who could benefit from participation, please share
the

Members have communicated a diversity of feedback so we're going to keep

volume of postings to a manageable level of between 5 - 10 posts per
week.
