Fellowship Announcement:

The National Council for Research on Women and the Center for the Study
of
Women and Society at the Graduate Center of the City University of New
York
announce a Rockefeller-funded humanities fellowship program, "Facing
Global
Capital, Finding Human Security: A Gendered Critique". Fellowships will
be
offered for 2002/2003 and 2003/2004 to selected activists, academics and
policymakers. This interdisciplinary program will explore the uses of a
human security framework for identifying non-discriminatory, sustainable
policies for women and girls, drawing into dialogue critical theories in
the
humanities and social sciences, and discourses of policymakers and
activists. More information available at: http://www.ncrw.org and
http://web.gc.cuny.edu/womenstudies/index.htm. Applications for
2002/2003
are due 31 January 2002.
