Development is able to reflect current thinking and
practice in these fields.

4. To advise on the gender content of Oxfam's book

1. At least 5 years' work experience, with at least
2 of those in development, preferably overseas;
knowledge of the NGO sector; sound practical and
theoretical knowledge of gender issues both in
relation to
programme implementation and to macro-economic and
development aid issues.

proficiency in writing and editing, preferably in a
relevant field; and experience of working with writers
whose first language is not English are essential.
