Welcome to INSTRAW News / Noticias del INSTRAW / Nouvelles de INSTRAW , the
eNewsletter of UN-INSTRAW-GAINS.

INSTRAW News is a forum through which INSTRAW and its Network members can
announce their forthcoming activities, new publications, etc to a wider
audience.  As well, we will include important information that we receive
from other sources.  It is not a mailing list, but rather a digest of
information we receive and feel would be of greater use if widely
circulated.  INSTRAW News will not publish full text of articles, but will
instead provide short summaries with website links or email addresses where
the full text or further information can be found.

Among the information included in the newsletter are:
- updates on current and forthcoming INSTRAW/GAINS activities
- news items and gender-related information from all regions of the world
- announcements of research and training programmes
- calls for papers
- new publications, papers and articles
- announcements of conferences, seminars and other events
- information on grant and funding opportunities
- job openings
- links to useful information sources

INSTRAW News is also available by subscription to individuals and
organizations outside of the GAINS networks. Visitors to our website also
have access to the current issue in circulation as well as to the archives
of past issues.
