APPLICATION DEADLINE APRIL 30, 2001

The Adelheid Project Transformation Training Course is a 2 year
dynamic ecumenical and international programme The course is run
in two phases (one each summer) for 2-3 weeks each. You are
invited to apply for this course organised by the Ecumenical
Forum of European Christian Women (EFECW) the YWCA -CR, and the
Ecumenical Network for Youth Action (ENYA), in cooperation with
the European Contact Group.

This interactive training seminar is with women from Eastern and
Central Europe who are interested in identifying, developing and
improving their talents and skills in: English, management
practices and methodologies, project development, financial
administration, theological reflection, computers/ internet/
e-mail; and economic, social, and political leadership. It is
hoped that the skills gained through participation in Adelheid
will be passed on to others through the womens work in their
local and national contexts. Based on six years experience of
the organisers, this course is designed to enable women to
develop self-confidence and skills in designing, implementing
and evaluating local self-determination projects and events.
