Post-Pessimist Meeting in Sarajevo

Dear friends!

   It is a pleasure for us to inform you that one-year project "Youth
Action Group Network" in organization of Post Pessimists Zagreb has started.

First part of the project is a one-week conference in Sarajevo,7 January -
14 January 2001. Main theme of the conference is "Local Action Planning"
divided in two parts. The first part includes workshops and discussion on
civil society - presently and in future, individual lidership and
postpessimism. The second part includes practical work on "Local Action
Planning". The participants will be divided considering their interests and
desires in one of four groups: Youth Camp, Culture, Leadership training,
Conflict management. The goal is to create, in first three days, a team of
people who will plan, organize and finally realize the project they chose.
The groups will be led by experienced facilitators who will be trainers of
the project and team organization, fundraising and other project parts that
every succesfull project should have.

The official conference language will be English.

We expect that there will be 40 people from Balkan, Central, Eastern and
Western Europe between 17-26 years of age. Accomodation, food and material
expenses will be covered.

Balkan (Croatia, BiH, Slovenia, Yu, Macedonia) participants will have a
full travel schollarship while participants from other parts of Europe will
be reimbursed max. 100 USD.
