Sziasztok!
Ezt a levelet Belgiumból kaptam egy Alison Woodwardtól, aki
szociológusként évek óta foglalkozik a nemek közötti esélyegyenlõség
kérdésével, szervezetszociológiai kutatásokat csinált az EU-ban, stb.
Gondolom, hogy többeknek is van ötlete, mi is kerülhetne be a készülõ
kötetbe.

I am writing a practical handbook about
women in decision making for the Council of Europe.
>We are having a terrible time finding interesting projects from Eastern Europe
>to improve Women in Decision making -- initiatives from political parties,
governments, in public administratoin
>from trade unions and from Women's Organizations....Do you know of
something- could you give us information:
>
>Here are the questions we have distributed:
>1) Organizations have developed a number of strategies to increase the
participation of women in decision-making, ranging from training men and
women to raise their awareness of diversity issues, advertising
campaigns,
new forms of selection of decision makers and committees,, mentoring, or
various forms of affirmative action regulations.
Think of the following types of organizations in your country
national or regional parliaments
political parties
public and government administration
trade unions
employers/employers' unions
non governmental organizations (including women organizations)
Can you identify for us examples from these organizations that you
believe
would be interesting for other organizations? Please help us by
providing
the following information about your examples:
>Good Practice Example:
>
> Name of organization
> Type of organization
>
>Description of initiative
>
> When did the project start?
> How long did it continue?
> Did project/initiative have a specific title or name?
> What was the aim and content of the initiative?
> What sort of initiative was it (what elements did it incorporate- what was
done)?
> How was it financed?
Was there any opposition, how was it overcome?
> What is your estimation of the effect/success of the initiative?
> Was the initiative evaluated?
>
> Is there any documentation available on the initiative? (promotional
brochures or evaluations?)
>
> Are there pictures, drawings or graphical representations available?
>
>Do you know of a contact person for further information on this initiative?
>
>
>
Hope you can help-- it is sort of an emergency--tight deadline,
Yours,
Alison Woodward
