International Day Against Violence Towards Women.
FULL SPECTRUM is a 25 hour broadcast marathon on Internet Radio by Feminist
International Radio Endeavour (FIRE) at www.fire.or.cr
Half a day in Spanish and Portuguese, and the other half in English, French,
German, Chinese and Togole, the marathon will feature:
 Women´s radio productions for local radios, send to FIRE for
Webcast.
 FIRE´s special productions for that day, featuring reports about
issues to be posted in the schedule.
 Re-broadcasts of the FIRE-PLACE programs produced by women from
around the world about each of the areas of concern of the Platform for
Action of the IV World Conference on Women, as to the role that media has
playes in portraing the issues.
You can take part in Full Spectrum that day, by:
 sending radio productions on tape, CD or minidisk for Webcast that
day. Programs can be any length of time, any language and any issue. Please
send two pieces in each envelope, but send as many as you want!
