Feminist EXPO 2000, the first coming together of the feminist movement in
the 21st century, will be held March 31 – April 2, 2000 at the new
state-of-the-art Baltimore Convention Center on the beautiful Inner
Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland.
Feminist EXPO 2000 will be the largest strategy gathering of feminists
in the last quarter century, bringing together participants working to
advance opportunities for women and girls in every
sector of society including media, law, medicine and health care, arts,
politics, business, technology, education, public service, trade unions,
non-profit services, sports, entertainment, advocacy, religion, and
philanthropy.  Already, 310 national, organizational and campus
co-sponsors and 65 international delegations have signed onto Feminist
EXPO 2000.  Feminists from around the USA and the world will celebrate
this century’s feminist landmarks and frame the debate for achieving
equality for women in the 21st century.
 Highlights of Feminist EXPO 2000 include four general assemblies, over
350 feminist speakers, scholars, authors and celebrities, and 107
roundtables, symposia and training seminars.  An innovative Exhibit Hall
envisioning a feminist future will feature a Feminist Career Center,  interactive online
superbooths, and book signings by favorite feminist authors.

In addition, there will be a special ERA Campaign Reunion on Friday,
March 31st honoring all of those who were part of the campaign to ratify
the Equal Rights Amendment (or wish they had been).  Bring your ERA
memorabilia and your war stories!

The need for a strong national and global feminist movement has never
been greater.  Feminist EXPO 2000 will help us rise together as a whole, feel
our combined strength and mobilize our resources for achieving equality in
the 21st century.
